Providing enhanced services to make Merced’s Downtown area safer, cleaner, and more aesthetically appealing.
A new public/private partnership funded by building owners within its boundary. Funds are overseen by a board that disperses them to do things such as power washing sidewalks, beautification projects, and helping the unhoused population where possible.
Our Core Services
The Downtown Merced Property Owners Association (DMPOA) is focused on two critical areas that go beyond the regular services of our local civic government. Services are funded through a yearly fee paid by the downtown property owners as a group effort to improve the downtown area.
